FinCEN Exempts U.S. Domestic Companies from BOI Reporting Under CTA

FinCEN issued an interim final rule exempting all U.S. domestic companies from Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act. Only foreign entities registered to do business in the U.S. must now file BOI reports. This was a major win for small businesses that faced complex reporting burdens.
